Lumanity needed a new white paper template that could be used across the business. Following a number of company mergers, different teams had developed their own approaches, so the aim was to create one clear, flexible format that designers could easily work with while keeping publications consistent and on brand.
I was trusted to lead the design of the template, working closely with the Brand Lead and Studio Director. I developed the layout, typography, hierarchy, imagery and supporting graphic elements, creating a clear set of rules that other designers could follow. The challenge was making the template structured enough to stay consistent, while still giving designers room to create.
The final template became Lumanity's standard white paper format, rolled out to creative teams across the business. It was well received by the brand leadership team, and provided a consistent foundation for producing professional, credible publications.
The styling also informed subsequent one-pagers and fact sheets, extending the visual system beyond the original brief and helping establish a more cohesive approach to Lumanity's wider output. The template's strong overall design structure also remained strictly in place during the 2024 brand refresh.
